Minecraft building tools FAQ
Answers for choosing circle, oval, arch, sphere, dome, pixel, chart, and material planning tools.
Which generator should I use first?
Start with the circle generator for round towers, wells, portals, and floor patterns. Use the oval generator when width and height need to differ.
What is the maximum circle size?
2D tools cap dimensions at 256 blocks. Sphere and dome tools cap diameter at 128 blocks to keep previews responsive.
Can I make ovals and ellipses?
Yes. Use the oval generator when width and height should differ. The circle generator keeps both dimensions equal.
How do sphere and dome layers work?
Choose a diameter, move through the layer preview, and build from bottom to top while keeping the center axis marked in-game.
How accurate are the block counts?
Counts are calculated from the visible grid. For survival builds, use the calculator when you also need wall height, stacks, and material totals.
What is the difference between the pixel circle generator and the circle chart?
The pixel circle generator focuses on one traceable template with center guides. The circle chart compares many diameters before you pick one.
Can I export or share the blueprint?
Every generator supports SVG and PNG export. You can also copy a URL with the current dimensions and mode for later use or team builds.
Is this a Minecraft mod?
No. It is a browser-based planning tool. You still place the blocks manually in Minecraft, so it works for creative and survival planning.
